Hello, and welcome. Congratulations on reaching the final phase of completing the CCRI portion of your JAA Program.

Important: Upon completion of this form, we will verify your JAA Status with CCRI’s Transfer Specialist. We will not process your intent to enroll until your status has been verified and CCRI’s Transfer Specialist provides your official transcript.

Your official RIC Admission acceptance letter will include information regarding a Decision Reply Form to finalize your enrollment at RIC. Information about on-campus housing will also be included in your acceptance letter.

Acknowledgement Agreement

I understand that this information is to be shared with CCRI and RIC for transfer purposes.
I understand that the information on this form has been completed to the best of my knowledge.
I understand my Intent Form will not be processed until my JAA status is verified and RIC has received my official electronic transcript from CCRI.
I understand that I cannot transfer with JAA prior to earning the AA degree at CCRI and earning 60 credits (this excludes the Inter-Institutional Agreement)
I understand that I can change my JAA transition plan while a student at CCRI, but the graduation requirements will change and alter my graduation/completion date.
I understand that I may be eligible to receive a JAA Tuition Discount award based on my Final Cumulative CCRI GPA with a minimum 3.0. Exact GPAs and tuition discount percentages are subject to change, but you would receive ample notice.
The JAA Tuition Discount will be applied to my bill after my final official CCRI transcript has been received.
I must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher each semester at Rhode Island College to continue to earn the JAA Tuition Discount. If my cumulative GPA at RIC drops below a 3.0, I will lose my JAA Tuition Discount.
If I change my major at Rhode Island College to a non-approved JAA academic program, the JAA tuition discount will no longer apply.
The JAA Tuition Discount is only available for a maximum of three years at RIC, and it does not apply to summer sessions.
It is encouraged to be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credits) to best utilize the JAA Tuition Discount.
If I defer enrollment at RIC, I will no longer qualify for the JAA Tuition Discount.
Students receiving the JAA tuition discount are not eligible for additional Rhode Island College Institutional Aid. All students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), to determine eligibility for available need-based financial aid resources. I understand that if I am eligible to receive a JAA Tuition Discount, the discount is based upon my final cumulative GPA at CCRI, that I must earn a minimum of a 3.0 each semester at RIC. Failure to earn a 3.0 each semester will result in the permanent loss of my award, and I understand there is no appeal process to this policy
